Stearlyn Clayton Bloom, 68, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, S.C. surrounded by her daughters.
Born Oct. 25, 1950 in Roxboro, she is the daughter of Janie Laws Clayton and the late Sterling Clayton. Mrs. Bloom retired after working many years in different industries and vocations. She enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing, listening to music and singing.
On June 18, 2018 Mrs. Bloom committed her life to the Lord Jesus. Some of her last spoken words were, “I am ready to see Jesus.” Her family rejoices in this decision!
She is survived by her husband, Michael Alan Bloom; daughters, Mindi Sullivan (Dan) of Hillsborough, Cindi Jacobs (Woody) of Roxboro, Dana Wright (Marty) of Blenheim, S.C.; step-daughter, Melissa Hoover of Phillipsburg, Pa.; her mother, Janie Laws Clayton; brother, Coy Clayton of Timberlake; sister, Daphny Knight of Cheraw, S.C.; special niece, Renay Walker of Darlington, S.C.; and five grandchildren, Lendon, Abigail, Callie, Molly Grace and Hunter and two step-grandchildren, Ian and Ezra.
Mrs. Bloom was preceded in death by her father listed above; sister, Geraldine; and brother, Darvel.
