Roy Lee Tuck, 65, of 230 Cedar Grove Church Road, Roxboro, died Wednesday morning, May 29, 2019 at Duke Regional Hospital.
Mr. Tuck was born February 19, 1954 in Person County, the son of the late Edward Walam and Henrietta Daisy Bowes Tuck and was husband of 45 years to Shelia Regan Tuck who survives. He worked as an electrician until his health forced him into retirement and was of the Baptist faith. Roy was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, North Carolina Tar Heels, and enjoyed watching Nascar, but his greatest love was for his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Christie Tuck Windham and husband, Gabe, Roy Matthews Tuck and wife, Jennifer all of Roxboro; three grandchildren, Katie Windham, Kirah Tuck, Lily Tuck; four sisters, Mary Alice Holbrook, Virginia Weadon, Rose Tyson and Linda Talley; one brother, Carlton Tuck; sister-in-law, Susie Wilborn; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Mr. Tuck is preceded in death by two brothers, Buck Tuck and Ernest Tuck,
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with family and friends officiating.
Honorary pallbearers were Keith Brann, Randy Long, Jay Tuck, Barry Whitfield, Jason Wilborn, Jimmy Wilborn, Jr. and Lynn Wrenn.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
