Warren’s Grove United Methodist Church

First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church will hold mid-week services Feb. 21 at 12 p.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Ed Prestaf, pastor of Long Memorial United Methodist Church. A fellowship luncheon will be served. The church will also hold early services this Sunday, with Sunday school beginning at 7:45 a.m. and worship services beginning at 9 a.m.

Joy Fellowship

The Joy Fellowship will sponsor a trip to Vermont Aug. 11-17. Cost is $799 with $75 due at the time of registration. The balance is due June 4. Buses will leave from Concord Church, 70 Concord Church Road, Roxboro. Call Joni Dawson at 336-597-2063 for information or registration.

Hebron United Methodist Church

Hebron United Methodist Church will host a ham and egg supper from 5-8 p.m., March 23 at the Prospect Hill Fire Department. Eat-in or take-out plates are available and cost $8 for adults and $4 for children.

Quinn Chapel
AME Church

Quinn Chapel AME Church will hold its Heritage and Old Fashioned Day observance at 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 17. Pastor Stedman Davis will be the guest speaker and the Republic Grove Baptist Church choir and congregation from Nathalie, Va. will accompany Davis. Lunch will be served at 1:30, prior to the service. The church is at 824 Durham Road, Roxboro.

Grove United Methodist Church

The Paliee Hamlin class of Warren Grove United Methodist Church will hold a barbecue chicken plate sale from 4:30-6:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 15 at the church. Baptist Church

Berry’s Grove Baptist Church will host an yard sale to benefit My Life Matters from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Feb. 16. Breakfast items will also be sold. Anyone who would like to donate good, used items for the yard sale can contact Lynn Brown at 336-364-8158 during weekdays from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Leave a message if no one answers. The last day to donate items for the yard sale is Feb. 14. The church is at 9628 Berry Road, Timberlake.
