Person High School has several students who are graduating early, but in Josh Harris’s case, his last day was Friday, Dec. 7. Josh Harris will be leaving today to participate in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas in Spartanburg, S.C., and then after that, he will return to PHS to take his final exams before packing up and leaving for N.C. State.
“I’m not nervous at all,” Josh said about his feelings on the Shrine Bowl.
Though he isn’t nervous about the bowl, he is anxious to get acclimated to the new environment at N.C. State. He also feels that most of his stress, right now, comes from getting all his school assignments complete before he is scheduled to exit PHS.
He said he will miss his friends, the football team and most importantly his coach David Kleine.
“To all the students who are freshmen and up (to Seniors), stay focused and be on your grind and you will accomplish your goals,” Harris said.
