Person matmen to host Rocket Invitational Saturday
The Person High School wrestling team will be hosting their annual Rocket Invitational tournament today.
Action is set to begin at 10 a.m. and will last throughout the afternoon and into the early evening.
Nine teams are scheduled to join Person in the event, including nearby rivals Chapel Hill, Bartlett Yancey and Halifax (Va.).
The annual full-day of wrestling has been one of the highlights of the Person wrestling season, but the last two Rocket Invitationals have been canceled because of winter weather.
