Nursing aide II training is available through Piedmont Community College from March 16 through May 13. This program includes classroom and clinical times that are broken down by date:
Classroom: March 16 – April 20; Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at PCC’s Caswell County Campus.
Clinical rotation: April 21 – May 13; 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at facilities in Roxboro.
To be eligible for admission to nurse aide II training, individuals must be a high school or high school equivalency graduate currently listed as a nurse aide I on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry.
Students who successfully complete the course will be eligible to register with the North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a nurse aide II.
Registration is required by 4 p.m Thursday, March 12. The registration fee is $188.90, and a textbook is required. This book may be purchased from the bookstore on PCC’s Person County Campus or online at www.pccstore.com.
