Oak Grove United Methodist Church will host vacation Bible school July 26-27. Events will take place from 4:30-7:30 p.m., July 26 and 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., July 27. VBS is open to students from age three to fifth grade. The church is at 854 Oak Grove-Mt. Zion Church Road, Roxboro.

Allen’s Chapel AME Church will host a family and friends day event at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., July 28. The Rev. Tamara Kersey Brown will be the guest speaker during the 11 a.m. service. The Rev.
