Timberlake — Linda Diane Carver, 70, of 252 North Old Lantern Road, Timberlake, died Friday, February 16, 2018. Born in Person County, she was the daughter of the late Bert Carver and Lonie Sue Turner Carver. She is preceded in death by her brother, Donald Carver and sister, Jeanette Carver. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Mrs. Carver retired as a patient advocate from Duke University Medical Center.
Surviving are her daughter, Lori-Ann Holder (Jeremy); two grandchildren: Haleigh Grace and Addison Holder; three sisters: Nancy Clayton (Mike), Donna Elloitt (Donald), and Bonnie Elliott (Robin); special aunt, Evelyn Wilson; sister-in-law, Carolyn Carver Stevens; nieces and nephews: Kent Carver, Brent Carver, Kirk Carver, Suzi Martin, Bert Fox, Cristin Christiansen and April Jo Revels; many loving great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-7:30 PM Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Brooks & White Chapel and other times at the home.
Funeral service will be 2 PM Monday, February 19, 2018 at Grace United Methodist Church with the Rev. Darcy Knight and Rev. Barry Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in Burchwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brent Carver, Kirk Carver, Blake Carver, Brett Carver, Kent Carver and Calvin Whitfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Walker, Larry Dowell, Tony Cole and Ronnie Day.
