Library will host Pout-Pout Fish next week


Pout-Pout Fish wants to meet a room full of children at the Person County Public Library at 10:30 a.m., March 26-27. Dive into the library’s Wet n’ Wild Pre-School Storytime for ages 3-5 years old. Visitors will journey into the world created by author Deborah Diesen and meet all of Pout-Pout Fish’s underwater friends.

Blair Frantz with CWEP, Clean Water Education Program of N.C. will be at the library at 4 p.m. March 26 for a special after-school program. CWEP, provides public educational programs to teach children and adults the importance of clean water for healthy ecosystems and higher quality of life. Frantz will share a fish storytime, a matching game, a-maze-ing water activity, and fashion-a-fish, in which participants can design their own fish. Last, but not least, meet Pout-Pout Fish!
