Kim Lenay Long, 56, of Roxboro, died Monday, May 6, 2019 at Roxboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Durham County, she is the daughter of the late Raymond Bradley Long and Helen Eggleston Long. Kim graduated Person High School and was a member of Ca-Vel Baptist Church.
Surviving are her two brothers: Donald Long and wife, Sheila and Joey Long, all of Roxboro; one aunt, Lorene Eggleston of Roxboro; two uncles: John Eggleston and wife, Jean of Roxboro and Arnold Long of Southport; two nephews, Mitchell Long (Lauren) and Clayton Long; one niece, Morgan Long Ferrell (Caleb); one great-niece, Danleigh Lanay Long.
Visitation will be held 7 – 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, at the Brooks & White Chapel and other times at the home of Donald and Sheila Long (9741 Virgilina Road, Roxboro.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at the Brooks & White Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in the Person Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Long, Clayton Long, Calab Ferrell, Mike Shotwell, Tommy Eggleston and Jimmy Eggleston.
