Jayne Clayton Wallace, 60, of Roxboro, died Sunday, March 15, 2020. Born in Person County, she was the daughter of the late Huel G. Clayton and Kathryn Simpson Clayton. She was a bank teller at BB&T for many years and later was a teaching assistant at South Elementary School. Mrs. Wallace was a member of Lea’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Dean Wallace of the home; two daughters, Shannon Nicole Wallace and Stephanie Lauren Cash and husband, Richard Dale Cash Jr., all of Roxboro; three brothers, Spencer Clayton, Scott Clayton (Michelle) and Stephen Clayton (Caroline), all of Roxboro; one sister, Joyce Ellen Oliver of Roxboro; grandson, Talyn Lee Wallace.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, at the Brooks & White Chapel with the Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Person Memorial Cemetery. Due to the Executive Order regarding the COVID-19, attendance will be limited to 100 people.
