Lunch & Learns

Diabetes affects millions of people across the country and there is no more difficult time than the holidays. It is normally hard to choose the best options for your health, but it is even more difficult during the holiday season.

On Tuesday, Nov. 12, from noon–1 p.m., the Person County  Extension Office will host a “Take Charge During Holidays” Lunch N’ Learn workshop to help teach people about managing their diabetes, meal choices, and how to have healthy and delicious foods.

The cost for the workshop is $5 each and includes lunch. Participants must pre-register and pre-pay for this event by the Friday before the workshop.
