SEMORA — Fleetwood Everette Wallace, 85, of Semora, died on Friday, Aug. 27, 2021. He was the son of the late Hubert Arthur Wallace and Myrtle Tucker Wallace. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Prince Wallace, Robert Lee Wallace and James Wallace; sister, Cheryl Fritz; daughter-in-law, Jayne Wallace.

Mr. Wallace was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of Wallace Construction. Mr. Wallace loved being outside and working in his vegetable and flower gardens.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Alma Wallace of the home; four children: Gail Shull (Randy), Dean Wallace, Stevie Wallace and Larry Wallace (Debbie), all of Roxboro; four siblings: Mary Turner (Thomas) of Burlington, Mamie Snow (Jerry) of SC, Lawrence Wallace (Debbie) of Burlington and Tom Wallace of Roxboro; eight grandchildren: Ashley Shull (Jessica), Derek Wallace, Chris Wallace, Jenna Rogers (Caleb), Nick Wallace (Karmen), Noah Wallace, Shannon Wallace and Stephanie Cash (Richie); three great-grandchildren: Talyn Wallace, Hudson Shull and Dawson Shull; special friends: William Weaver and Ray Weaver.

Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021 at Ephesus Baptist Church with the Rev. David Bunch and the Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (10:30-11:30 a.m.).

Pallbearers will be Ashley Shull, Derek Wallace, Chris Wallace, Nick Wallace, Noah Wallace and Richie Cash. Honorary pallbearers will be William Weaver, Blake Whitt and the men of Ephesus Baptist Church.
