The Exchange Club’s Family Center of the Central Piedmont has announced parenting educational classes and a support group for parents, from 5:30-7 p.m., beginning Jan. 22 and running for 12 consecutive Wednesdays. All classes will be held at the Hillsborough Exchange Club Building, 330 Exchange Park Lane, Hillsborough.
The Exchange Club’s Family Center was recently awarded the prestigious Triple A accreditation by the National Exchange Club for its commitment to mission, networking resources, program practices and planning and management.
Class topics will include parenting styles and child development, stress and anger management, family communication, family and environmental trauma, and child development and creative discipline. Pre-registration is required, either in person at the Family Center office, 200 N. Main St., Graham, or by phone at 336-227-5601. No childcare will be provided for this program and enrollment will be closed following the third week of classes.
