Mr. Dominique Kevon Banks, 28, of 319 Wesleyan Heights Road, Roxboro, departed this life Sunday, August 11, 2019 in Guilford County. He was born in Durham County but made his home in Roxboro.
He is survived by two children, Nema Banks of Danville, Va. and Kyng Banks of South Boston, Va.; his mother, Marion Banks (very special friend, Barry Scoggins); his father, Tezell Paylor (Kapricia) of Roxboro; two sisters, Destiny Palmer and Talia Paylor, both of Roxboro; six brothers, Chris Palmer (Tabitha), Teriq Paylor, Tyler Paylor, Eric Outlaw and Tayshaun Outlaw, all of Roxboro and Amontae Smith of Greensboro; maternal grandmother, Pamela Depew of the home; paternal grandparents, Dianne Paylor, Tezell Paylor (Shirley) and Flossie Palmer, all of Roxboro; like-a-sister, LaShona Bumpass (Tremaine) of Roxboro; and a host of other additional relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Home with Elder James Williams, pastor of Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, officiating and providing the eulogy. Burial will follow at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ Cemetery, 6585 Old Roxboro Road, Oxford. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 1 - 6 p.m. with the family present during the last hour from 5 - 6 p.m.
At other times, the family will receive friends at his home.
