The following reports were released Thursday.

Roxboro Police Department

Tuesday, Feb. 18

11:52 a.m. - Officers responded to a report of obtaining property by false pretenses at Quality Mart, 207 N. Madison Blvd.

12:46 p.m. - Officers conducted a death investigation.

Wednesday, Feb. 19

9:34 p.m. - Tara Latisha Jackson, 43, of 304 Personality Lane, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor communicating threats.

9:47 p.m. - Hubert Lee Scoggins, 52, of 304 Personality Lane, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor communicating threats.

Thursday, Feb. 20

4:04 a.m. - Gary Dardell Boyd, 53, of 114-A Edgewood Drive, Roxboro, was charged with felony possession of a Schedule II, III or IV controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Boyd was held under a $7,000 secured bond.

Person County Sheriff’s Office

Tuesday, Feb. 18

10 a.m. – Shanjerre Latrish Blackwell, 29, of 3687 N.C. Highway 119, Leasburg, was summoned on a charge of misdemeanor larceny.

1:30 p.m. – Susan Griffin, 41, of 1354 Tom Oakley Road, Timberlake, was charged with felony trafficking opium or heroin, felony possession of crack cocaine and a misdemeanor warrant in Durham County. Griffin was held under a $20,000 secured bond.

2 p.m. – William Lewis Kline Jr., 47, of 2191 Antioch Church Road, Timberlake, was taken into custody for a warrant in Durham County. Kline was released under a $1,000 secured bond.

2:40 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of property damage on Allensville Road in Roxboro. The victim reported that they had been arguing with another person who then kicked the victim’s car resulting in damage.

4:30 p.m. – Walter Dillon Grogan, 26, of 68 Thomas Road, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor failure to appear. Grogan posted the $500 secured bond and was released.

6:15 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of obtaining property by false pretenses on Copper Ridge Lane in Roxboro. The victim reported that they had attempted to buy a tractor on eBay and the seller requested they pay with eBay gift cards and then the tractor was never delivered.

7:50 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of injury to real property on Woodsy View Lane in Roxboro. The victim reported that their window had been shot out.

Wednesday, Feb. 19

12:30 a.m. – Todd Bowles, 46, of 127 Carver-Holt Road, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor driving while license revoked. Bowles was released on a $1,000 unsecured bond.

10:03 a.m. – Deputies responded to a report of damage to personal property on Greenway Drive in Semora. The victim reported that their mailbox had been pried open and damaged.

3:50 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of breaking and entering on Carver-Holt Road in Roxboro. The victim reported that an antique dresser had been stolen.

8:05 p.m. – Joyce Christine Daley, 64, of 1133 Berea Road, Rougemont, was summoned on warrant service for an unnamed jurisdiction.

9:10 p.m. – Keisha Danielle Wiley, 23, of 217 Lake Drive, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor failure to appear. Wiley was held under a $500 secured bond.
