The following reports were released Monday.

Roxboro Police Department

Thursday, Aug. 15

1:12 a.m. - Officers responded to a report of possession of marijuana paraphernalia on Yarborough Street.

4:25 a.m. - Officers responded to a report of a weapon discharged on Edgewood Drive near Wall Street.

10:47 a.m. - Haley Nicole Blaint, 25, of 611 Barnette Tingen Road, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of toxic substances and misdemeanor DWI. Blaint was held under a $1,000 secured bond.

2:59 p.m. - Elvis Gunici, 29, and Maria Ardeleanu, 20, both of 11081 Eggers Lane, Weeki Wachee, Fla., were arrested and charged with a city ordinance offense. Both were held under $500 secured bonds.

4:06 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of a breaking and entering on South Foushee Street.

Friday, Aug. 16

4:06 a.m. - Marquis Dontez Long, 25, of 2430 Glenbrook Drive, Durham, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Long was held under a $10,000 secured bond.

12:37 p.m. - Valero, at 3326 Durham Road, reported a larceny.

10:45 p.m. - Jamie Castro, 27, of 216 N. Foushee St., was arrested and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear. Castro was held under a $300 secured bond.

Saturday, Aug. 17

8:12 p.m. - Michael Dwayne Wilson, 50, of 211 Academy St., Roxboro, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon. Wilson was held without bond.

11:01 p.m. - Roxie Nicole Ashby, 35, of 5364 Helena Moriah Road, Rougemont, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Ashby was held under a $1,500 secured bond.

Sunday, Aug. 18

4:49 a.m. - Jason Edmond Fields, 39, of 521 Cedar Creek Road, Timberlake was arrested and charged with felony fleeing to elude arrest and misdemeanor traffic offense. Fields was held under a $5,000 secured bond.

1:35 p.m. - Alexus Lei L. Wrenn, 18, of 339 Thaxton Road, Roxboro, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor failure to appear. Wrenn was held under a $500 secured bond.

11:10 p.m. - Jason Edmond Fields, 39, of 521 Cedar Creek Road, Timberlake was arrested and charged with felony maintaining a store, dwelling, vehicle, boat, or other place for the use, storage, or sale of controlled substances and felony conspiracy to commit a felony. Fields was held under a $15,000 secured bond.

11:20 p.m. - Roxie Nicole Ashby, 35, of 5364 Helena-Moriah Road, Rougemont, was arrested and charged with felony conspiracy to commit a felony. Ashby was held under a $5,500 secured bond.

Thursday, Aug. 15

11:45 a.m. - Deputies responded to a report of littering on Frogsboro Road in Leasburg. The victim reported finding trash dumped in a creek.

10:10 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of a runaway juvenile in Leasburg. The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office located the missing juvenile Aug. 16.

Friday, Aug. 16

12:30 a.m. - Lorenzo Prince Smith, 34, of 375 Sunny Lane, Roxboro, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor communicating threats. Smith was held without bond.

4:47 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of obtaining property under false pretenses on Haywood Bailey Road in Roxboro. The victim reported a builder took out liens valued at more than $50,000 in violation of a no lien agreement.

8 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of injury to real property at the Mayo Park boat dock. Person County Parks and Recreation reported internal works valued at $300 were ripped out of toilets.

Saturday, Aug. 17

10:40 a.m. - Deputies responded to a report of a sexual battery on Jones Road in Hurdle Mills. The victim reported being attacked by three men near Wheelers Primitive Baptist Church around 1:30 a.m.

Monday, Aug. 19

11:46 a.m. - Danielle Latrice Winstead, 31, of 3632 Halifax Road, Roxboro, was cited for misdemeanor child abuse. A caller reported two children left unattended in a car at Dollar General in Timberlake. Both children were alert and conscious and a window was cracked for them, according to the incident report.
