For the second time this week, two additional cases of COVID-19 have been announced by the Person County Health Department.
A Thursday release announced that the county now has 13 confirmed cases.
In a separate tweet, the Health Department reported that four of the 13 cases have been released from isolation and the remaining nine are being monitored at home.
The announcement follows Tuesday's release that took the county's number of cases into double digits at 11.
County Health Director Janet Clayton said a detailed update on the county's cases will be available Friday after the Health Department has contacted the individuals.
