Charles B. Wright, Jr., 80, of 127 Kylasu Ln., Roxboro, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021. Born in Bronx, NY, Mr. Wright was the son of the late Charles and Marion Shruby Wright. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, William DePew, Donald J. Wright, Lester M. Wright, Robert H. Wright and Arlene F. Wright. Mr. Wright was a self-employed contractor and of the Presbyterian faith.
Memorial services will be 12 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021, at Brooks & White Chapel by Pastor Dr. Gwendolyn Moore. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at the home. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at the home.
Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Gay Thompson Foster-Wright; five children, David L. Wright, Sr., and wife Ingrid and Deborah A. Wright, both of Timberlake, Charles Wright, III, of Cary, Dawn Denise Wright, of Roxboro and Sherman Wright and wife Magdalene Smiling-Wright, of Rural Hall; one brother, Alfred Wright, of Roxboro; nine grandchildren, Tarryl Springfield, Tiffany Springfield, Mattisha Mangum, David Wright, Jr., Lewis Anthony Wright, Alfred Wright, Aniah Wright, Shamon Rahiem Wright and Alyiah Smiling; four great-grandchildren, Zaecari Ford, Tarryl Springfield, Jr., Tristin Springfield and Hunter Rae Moseley.
