Mr. Strickland was born Feb. 24, 1979 in Person County, son of the late Charles Branch Strickland and Lucia Yarborough Strickland, who survives.

Chad was truck driver who grew up a happy, energetic and athletic young man.  He enjoyed country music, water skiing, hunting and fishing.  He loved making people laugh and his humor and love of life were infectious.
