Aviyon LeAndrè Partridge


Aviyon LeAndrè Partridge, 12, of 131 Academy St., Roxboro, departed this life Monday, May 27, 2019 in Person County. He was a member of Lattisville Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served as an usher. He was a student at Roxboro Community School and also played for the Person County Parks and Recreation Department as well as AAU teams.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ossie Wilkerson and his paternal great-grandfather, James Daye.

He is survived by his parents, Andrew and Tanillya Partridge of the home; two brothers: Johnathan Hamlett Jr. and Andrew Partridge II, both of Roxboro; one sister, Kyrah Davis of Beaufort County; his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Anna McIver Bass of Roxboro; his paternal grandparents, Barbara Hanes and Andrew Daye of Durham; his paternal great-grandmother, Berta Daye of Creedmoor; two aunts and three uncles; two godmothers, Wanda Askew and Tara McCullum; and a host of other additional relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2 at Lattisville Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1701 Jimmy Ed Road, Hurdle Mills, with the Rev. George Crews III, pastor, officiating and providing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will also be Sunday from 1 – 2 p.m. at the church where his body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

At other times, the family will receive friends at the home.
